Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thy fighter. She currently competes with the UFC Flyweight division. Valentina is her elder sister, and also a UFC competitor. Antonina Schevchenko began career-long MMA profession in the year 2002 with an impressive win against Anara Baanova, during the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She took the win via a second round TKO, and then won 2 additional fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to achieve a record of 3-0. Shevchenko took a short break from MMA and concentrated on her kickboxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 with Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko won against Anissa by unanimous decision before she fought Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She joined Dana White Contender Series 2018 after leaving the promotion. Shevchenko battled Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina displayed her striking prowess by TKOing Nievera using knees. After this win, Antonina was offered an UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko won the fight via unanimous decision but losing her following fight to Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina bounced back from losing to defeat Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the extra fight of the evening for this bout. Shevchenko was 1-2 over her subsequent three bouts. She beat Ariane Lipski and lost to Katlyn Chokagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina lost her last fight to Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
